イタリアのタラントという港湾都市に生まれ、１５歳頃から本格的に絵の勉強を始め、Voltolino Fontani のフリーアカデミーで約１年間学び、その後、巨匠、Luciano Torsi の１８年間に及ぶ指導の下で才能を開花させ、１９７６年にChimera di Arezzo 賞を受賞しました。彼女は、フローレンスのマキャベロ アカデミーとボローニャのグリエルモ マルコーニ アカデミーの名誉教授を務めています。

artist of the week (2) Liliana Frasca
アルゼンチンのブエノスアイレスにある芸術一家の家庭で生まれました。芸術的に恵まれた環境の中で育ち、美術家への道に進むことを明らかに運命づけられているようでした。 彼女の作品は、印象派の風味を帯びた写実主義と言われているように、建物などが緻密に描写され、かつ遠近感のある作風になっています。
